QPSuite version 8.3.0 introduces new functionalities and enhancements designed to bolster the planning, traceability, and operational analysis of workflows within the platform.

These advancements focus on optimizing maintenance management, checklist administration, analytical visualization, and user experience ensuring a more agile, transparent, and productivity-oriented environment.

Maintenance Management

The Maintenance module has been optimized for more robust planning and execution.

Maintenance Tasks and Planning

  • Task Creation: Maintenance task generation is now enabled via direct assignment to Controlled Assets or by Asset Classification.
  • Plan Management: A dynamic maintenance plan management feature has been incorporated, allowing for the visualization and editing of scheduled tasks, thereby strengthening proactive planning.

Maintenance Order (MO) Control Dashboard
An operational dashboard has been implemented for the comprehensive management of Maintenance Orders:

  • Operational Traceability: Recording of hours, technical documentation, and logs associated with execution.
  • Compliance Control: Monitoring of task status (completed or non-compliant with justification).
  • Approval Workflow: Establishment of a standardized status flow (Started / Closed / Approved) for the formal validation of MOs.
Checklist Management

Improvements have been incorporated aimed at administrative efficiency and the traceability of the Checklists module.

Checklist Portability

  • Bulk Checklist Import/Export: A bulk import and export functionality has been enabled, facilitating the administration, backup, and transfer of these forms between QPSuite environments or instances.

This improvement applies to checklists used as inspection, verification, or maintenance protocols, enabling more agile and standardized management.

Filtering and Traceability by Code

  • A new code based filter has been incorporated into the module’s primary interfaces:

    Checklist CRUD

  • Instance Creation

These improvements strengthen documentary traceability and optimize the reuse of standardized control and quality assurance formats.

Layout Management

A substantial enhancement has been introduced that transforms the management of graphical representations within the suite.

  • Integrated Design: An advanced SVG editor has been enabled to build and edit layouts directly within QPSuite.
  • Allows for the uploading of base images, defining operational areas, and linking resources (assets or data) to those areas.

KPI Management

Analytical and operational enhancements have been incorporated for the management and tracking of time logged to work orders.

Task and Service Order (SO) Indicator Dashboard

  • KPI Visualization: Evolution of logged hours, comparison between estimated and actual hours, and productivity percentage.
  • Consolidated View: In the SO, charts present aggregated information from all tasks, providing a comprehensive view of progress.

Dynamic Visualization in the SO Kanban

  • Hour Chips: The Kanban board now displays visual chips showing theoretical vs. actual hours per task.
  • Visual Alerts: Chips automatically change color when executed hours exceed theoretical hours, alerting users to planning or budget deviations.

Permissions Management

The permissions administration interface has been optimized for greater clarity and traceability.

  • A structured visualization of object permissions associated with each state within the suite has been implemented.

    This improvement offers full transparency regarding the actions permitted or restricted by profile at every stage of the workflow.

Log Management

Operational management is balanced with the need for historical traceability.

  • It is now possible to delete logs within the suite to optimize active information.

Important: Deleted logs remain visible in general queries and reports, ensuring complete traceability of all actions.

Multimedia Management

Usability and efficiency in the handling of graphic content have been improved.

  • Simplified Navigation: The viewer allows for sequential scrolling between images using lateral controls.
  • Direct Download: Immediate download is now enabled directly from the preview interface.

    These improvements streamline the inspection and documentary management of graphic assets.

General Status

Analytical and monitoring capabilities have been expanded within the General Status screen.

  • The option to filter data by Tasks or Work orders has been added.

    This functionality provides a more granular visualization of operational performance, facilitating precise decision making.
