Yet in another episode of our beloved “Stories that last” section, we would like to tell you about the MAXION MONTICH success story.

Montich S.A. started its activities in 1958 in the city of Córdoba, Argentina. In 1976, it acquired its plant in Ferreyra to manufacture chassis, fuel tanks, air tanks, and stamped parts for IVECO Argentina and other terminals.

Due to the expansion of the automotive sector and exports, it acquired its plant in Camino a 60 Cuadras in 1991, which meant a 300% growth in its operating capacity.

In recent years, the company has undergone a very important transformation and growth, hand in hand with the NISSAN RENAULT alliance, for the manufacture of components for the new Nissan and Renault Global Pickup. For this purpose, two new plants were developed in the city of Córdoba, equipped with the latest technology and automation required for the production of Chassis, Cross car Beam and other body and engine parts. For this purpose, the new subsidiary Maxtich S.A. was created.

We believe it is important to point out that, in order to keep up with the technological level required by these products, important investments in presses in plants 1 and 2 have also recently been made.
